Masterstrokes
One is a singing heartthrob, the other is an IT professional and the third a maestro par excellence. And what have you? A trio who has dared to think out of the box and give meaning to spaces between people.
Sangria 2013 brought together three unassuming artists and gave us an exhibition par excellence.
Noni Borpujari, a heady concoction of ale and fizz would put any youngster to shame with the exuberance and zeal for life that he exudes in every second of his life. His paintings have poetry, music and life all captured through the master strokes of his brush.
Zubeen Garg, known more for his eccentricities, has taken life as it comes. Someone who excels in everything that he lays his hands on, Zubeen has literally or should we say, visually captured the hearts of some of his new fans.
Hemanta Debnath, the most unassuming artist amongst the trio, displayed a feast for the eyes through his lenses. The only thing missing was an appropriate moment when a poet should have composed explicitly on the passionate shots put up by Hemanta.
In all good artistic sense, Sangria 2013 created quite a flutter as the city got to see some of the most creative works of art by these intensely-passionate-at-heart-artists. Quite a visual treat, this!
